Goodbye Chums 2008

The annual spring event at the hatchery was hugely successful, attracting approximately 540 visitors. This year's event marked the 25th anniversary of the hatchery as well as the 10th anniversary of KEEPS.

Spring flowers mark the occasion as the hatchery turns twenty-five.

The newest version of the Enviroscape model was part of the day... was story telling.

Scott assists some children with their crafts.

A live aquatic invertebrate table was part of the KEEPS display.

Panago Pizza once again kindly donated pizza to the event.

Lisa waited for her opportunity at that pizza, from a very well camouflaged location....

Of course, the release of salmon was the main focus of the day.

The Giant Chickadee even got into the act....

...when she wasn't working the crowd.

Maurice, ZoAnne and Scott share a moment.

One o'clock brought an official ceremony for this special day.

There was even a commemorative cake.... Dave and John were quick to discover.
