K.E.E.P.S. Annual General Meeting

Everyone is welcome to our Annual General Meeting, which will be held May 2nd at 7PM at the Kanaka Creek Watershed Stewardship Center, 11450 256th Street in Maple Ridge. Official business will be accompanied by our Guest Speaker, Dr. David Clements. His

presentation is entitled “Will climate change hurt native organisms and help invasive species?“ Dr. Clements is a professor of biology and ecology at Trinity Western University. Currently he is researching invasive plants, invasive fish, native biodiversity and Garry oak ecosystems. He has published more than 70 scientific papers and is currently co-editing two books entitled “Persistence strategies of weeds“ and “Global plant invasions.“
