Mild outflow winds that raised the temperature to just shy of 15 degrees greeted the students as they mulched restoration plantings and removal invasive Scotch broom on this fine January afternoon.

Over 500 trees and shrubs were planted today at a restoration site in east Maple Ridge, thanks to the efforts of the students and parents. The day started off with some creek time at the fish fence.
