A $5,200 grant from the George Ross Legacy fund enabled us to restore an area in Kanaka Creek Regional Park that had been subject to heavy recreational impacts. Volunteers helped prepare the site and then plant native vegetation. A second site north of Rainbow Bridge was planted with alder November 7th, and thanks go to 1st Pitt Meadows Scouts for that. We are of course indebted to our volunteers, and Metro Vancouver Regional Parks staff for all of their amazing contributions to this project.
