A $5,200 grant from the George Ross Legacy fund enabled us to restore an area in Kanaka Creek Regional Park that had been subject to heavy recreational impacts. Once again, off we go with this Maple Ridge fall classic. We are grateful to Metro Vancouver staff and our volunteers!
Golden autumn sunshine greets us on this November afternoon.
We greeted visitors at the fish fence before the Scouts assisted us with a planting project on this Super Salmon Sunday, as we brought November in.
It is a sight to behold, as we have a salmon traffic jam in the creek this October.
We held our scaled down event on the banks of Kanaka on a crisp October afternoon. We thank our volunteers, and Metro Vancouver staff for making this a most enjoyable Sunday.
It’s October, and our chum are coming home. Let’s go have a look.
