Our first Open House in two years. Saying it’s great to be back is the understatement of the year. Thanks to everyone that helped out and joined us on this fabulous Family Day.
A $5,200 grant from the George Ross Legacy fund enabled us to restore an area in Kanaka Creek Regional Park that had been subject to heavy recreational impacts. We greeted visitors at the fish fence before the Scouts assisted us with a planting project on this Super Salmon Sunday, as we brought November in.
It is a sight to behold, as we have a salmon traffic jam in the creek this October.
