It’s October 23rd on Kanaka Creek as we approach the peak of the chum return.
We take in the Maple Ridge fall classic along the banks of Kanaka Creek on this October day.
The chum return is beginning to pick up on this Friday afternoon in mid October.
Over 500 trees and shrubs were planted today at a restoration site in east Maple Ridge, thanks to the efforts of the students and parents. The day started off with some creek time at the fish fence.
We were delighted to attend Alouette Park on this consummate early fall afternoon.
