With fry releases in the books for another year, we wish to congratulate the teachers and students that took such excellent care of their classroom fry.
May day
Students release their Salmonids in the Classroom chum fry while the one year old coho in the Bell-Irving Hatchery rearing ponds are horsing around as they always do before their imminent ocean journey.
Super Tuesday
103 plants into the ground due to the great effort of the students on this delightful spring afternoon.
April planting
339 plants went into the ground today at this restoration site, thanks to the students and the rest of the volunteers.
The Perfect Fryday
Salmonids in the Classroom chum salmon fry are released on this fine spring day as the students explore the surrounding area. Later on we check out wolf spiders of all things as well as coho fry further downstream.
Spring Break
Once again, Metro Vancouver Regional Parks, KEEPS and the City of Maple Ridge coming together to provide a super cool experience for youth.
