102 visitors helped to send coho salmon smolts off towards the Salish Sea on this warm Kanaka Creek Sunday.
The students are applying protective mulch to this restoration planting site. We appreciate their great effort, and that of the parent volunteers as well.
508 visitors joined us for this Maple Ridge spring tradition, as the chum fry commenced their journey to the Salish Sea. We thank our volunteers, Metro Vancouver Regional Parks staff, and as always Panago.
We celebrate April 22nd alongside Kanaka Creek with the release of classroom reared chum salmon fry at the Stewardship Center, and later on the fish fence.
